I like the way you think..

Well heck, now that I have been making regular crunchwraps at home for a while, the circle is now nearly complete.
Final stage: Dessert crunchwrap..

All good! That’s what I figured, it will need some tweaking and experimenting. Worst case I save the rest of the cherries for more mead :)

We used cherries, which is a departure from the recipe (kiddo wanted cherry, who am I to deny them?), I wonder if the amount of pectin influenced things. We did leave them in the freezer for 24 hours, checked again at 42, and now a few more days later still soft.

Experimentation is half the fun!

Well, things I learned the hard way - use 1/4tbsp, not 1/2tbsp, for popsicles. Our first batch came out tasting great, but very much not the hard popsicles we had imagined! Oh well, we’ll finish these up and try again.

We waited until we could watch a movie at home without multiple bathroom trips, jumping around, etc. It became pretty fun honestly putting together a home movie night, especially over the pandemic. Some popcorn, turning off all the lights, etc. We first then took advantage of the cheap kids focused movies our local

Chat with your librarians! Sometimes they don’t know there’s demand for titles unless someone asks. And, I know here we can catalog search and if our local library doesn’t have something, we can get it transferred from another library in our system, usually turned around in a day or so if it’s not already loaned out.
Oh

Don’t forget your local library. A lot of libraries during the pandemic significantly increased their offerings of streaming content (beyond the physical discs you can pick up). Around here access is through services like Hoopla, but with your free library card there’s a lot to access.
Your library is worth a visit

I seem to remember retrofit kits being around for water heaters and boilers at one point (maybe still?)

Older than the 90's.
Even in the 90's, the only time I ran into them were specifically older homes, cabins, etc.

To be fair, I have lived with gas stoves most of my life, and none of them had pilot lights - they all had electronic ignition, just like our gas water heaters. As far as I know, you can’t buy a stove that has a pilot light anymore.

I have to admit, I wasn’t sure about the series at the start, but by the end I was sold on it. The kids were given opportunity to grow, we had some plot threads laid down for the next season. I want to see where the next steps in these characters journey goes. My kid (the target audience!) enjoyed watching it with me!

Look, logic and early morning before coffee don’t exactly work in my favor some days

We just saw the movie last night, and his cameo was a fantastic surprise. I am a fan of Glover’s acting, and would love to see him return as the character again for sure.

Heck, I’d be happy to see Miles/Shameik and Gwen/Hailee reprise their roles in live action too, let’s be honest. My kiddo would lose their mind to

Keep that nostalgia $$$$ train moving I guess until it runs dry

Now playing

+1 for ghee! After Alton Brown posted a video during lock down it’s how we do it now

The thermal blocking tint has been a huge improvement for us during the summer, this year I’m applying it to a few more windows to help reduce the cooling load. I will agree, the cling material goes on easy, but I prefer the sticker based stuff.

It’s a lot easier to tuck a 5lb into somewhere vs a 20lb is what I’m thinking, and the local liquor store has better hours than AirGas usually ;)

But hey, if you can fit the bigger tank, why not :)
