You don’t need a canister that big!!
Go to your local homebrew store, and get a smaller CO2 canister. They can likely fill it there as well, or check with your local liquor stores (especially if they have keg sales). They may also have used, recertified tanks for sale.

GotMead was my first regular listening. I dove deep to better refine my mead making practices/skills, it’s now a listen every time we are in a car trip or if I’m working in my basement meadery.

Cook the bacon with maple syrup and black pepper. Reduce the need to add syrup, keeps the whole thing to a cleaner handheld experience

If we have any left over onion, I’ll usually grab a hunk and skewer it or use some tongs to scrub the hot grill grates using that. It’s not uncommon for us to have half of an onion hanging around after a recipe earlier in the week in the kitchen and ends up being a decent use for it before we turn to foil.

And if a thin white woman with dead eyes and brown hair tells you that something is “soooo good,” take it with a flake of Maldon salt.

Oh, I didn’t know it was called this! We skip the cream as well. I was shown this years ago by a friend for preparing a bunch for pre-assembled breakfast sandwiches, however they cooked them a little further. Toast English muffins or bagels, add some cheese, add the cooked egg, more cheese, sausage or bacon, top

I’ve made bumpers for some edges around my garage, specifically rack corners, benches, etc. Give a little extra protection from myself or something else knocking into things.

I’m looking forward to the new start for the team and the site. I’ve followed things here for a long time (I think even when the site was still independent?), and I’m glad to hear it will live on and I expect thrive. Cheers to the staff! Have a glass of mead and celebrate :)

All things are possible with enough exuberance, using the wrong cord, and poorly made kit

Pepperoni is right there, and its aggressive, salty character practically begs to be tempered with tangy fruit. Even better, try a spicy pep—sweet and heat are a natural, harmonious pair.

Yes and no. The potential to overload an extension cord is still a very real thing.

For the fire starter, I like to add a little cooking oil and then pack into a used medicine container or something likewise sealable. Works great for starting charcoal chimneys or camp fires.

For the people I’ve talked to, they all have something like you’re talking about with a higher output, and previous to the software update reported no issues charging and using navigation on their phone screens at the same time. At least one I know thought perhaps her cable was failing and swapped in a known good one

The most common complaint I have seen among friends and team members has been their iOS devices not charging quickly while in their cars (especially my nurse and traveling technician friends). They spend a fair amount of time hopping between locations and found after disabling the feature, their devices were quick

This did not need to be a slideshow and I’m thankful this was not a slideshow.

There should be a disclaimer that this does not apply when your windshield is and/or windows are useless due to frost/ice/snow/etc. Hauling off without having that shit cleared is a good way to get into an accident and/or a ticket.

At one point, I had what was a good relationship with our local Subaru dealer. We had bought four different cars through them over the years, even with different sales people. Two new, two used. Pretty streamlined process, good pricing.

They do! There was a handle on the shoulder like we have on our other Toyotas and our previous Subaru. It was a welcome feature on longer trips.
