I think that’s the contrast with your situation - most people don’t have a flat rate charge for electricity - it’s based on actual usage in kilowatt-hours.

The funny thing is, some of those old speakers are pretty good, and can be had for incredibly cheap. The little T-amp is pretty clean, and you get some embarassingly good sound out of the setup.

We’ve never cared for a “picture perfect bird”. We have grilled, roasted, spatchcocked, and this year we are smoking our birds. In the end, we carve them then serve out of slow cookers because of the size of our group.

What matters is the company and the food. Sometimes not in that order.

I grab mine because it’s so much more reliable than stick lighters or fumbling with matches - starts easy, intense heat. I have a MAPP tank that I am just starting to get to the end of after a couple years on grill duty.
