Eh, there are plenty of ways to implement that without charging for it. Dota 2 has a limited heroes mode made for newer players that lets people select heroes from a pool of easier to play heroes.

Ah, yeah. I've had hit or miss experiences with GFWL. Arkham Asylum was fine, Arkham City was horrendous. I don't think I really noticed it in Bulletstorm, which is probably a good thing.

I really did love this game, the shooting felt great, the levels were fun and it was paced pretty well. I did buy it pretty cheap when it was on sale on Steam, so that $60 didn't affect me. It ran really smooth on my laptop though, why was it considered a bad PC port? Was it just bad at launch?

It was likely just a blanket ban on domains that are often used by scammers. They probably just tweaked their blacklist to not be so restrictive.

I'd say it's probably their scam protection filtering being too restrictive. I know that recently Valve has been ramping up their scam protection in Steam (the whole malicious site thing was introduced to counter item scammers).

As for time management, each zone has stuff you have to do to open up the dungeon, which can take a significant amount of time. Once you open up the dungeon there will be an owl nearby that will warp you straight to the entrance. So don't worry about thinking you have to beat the dungeon in the same cycle you opened…
