God, I love inFamous and I want my hands on this so bad now. I feel like the art direction is a bit stronger than the previous games as well and I've always thought that was the weakest part of the series. (It still could be better in my opinion though).

"soon will be mine"

And no livestream. It's been ages since I've been interested in what SE was showing... and they are not even streaming it :(

Yeah I saw that and it instantly made me sad. I hope that co-op is not mandatory and that there are lots of options for those that want to play solo.

Man, as an AC fanboy, AC3 really made me sad.... I only got like 4 hours into it and I just couldn't keep playing. It's definitely one of the biggest let downs in gaming I've ever experienced. I'm still hopeful for this game though. I plan to just watch a youtube video explaining what happened in AC3 and go straight

It almost felt like he did it on purpose to be gif'd.

I was about to write a similar post, but ya nailed it, so here's a reply so you get bumped up.

The day Kotaku gets annoyed for pun threads is the day I'm through with Kotaku #Dukakismustliveon

? The X1 isn't backwards compatible... them not supporting 360 XBLA games has nothing to do with their network infrastructure. (The PS4 will not be supporting PS3 PSN games either)

While I think false advertising is a whole other can of worms, I think the ESRB's role in rating marketing materials is more just to ensure that said materials can be viewed by all audiences, since marketing materials are usually put on public display for people of all ages to see.

This game takes place in the far future right? I'd hope that racial issues (like the ones Aveline would have to face) wouldn't really exist then.

I was first super excited... and then I looked him up and saw he is currently working at NCSoft NA. Which means its probably for an MMO :(

Man, I'm sure as a writer it must be incredibly fulfilling to have so many people that are that emotionally invested in your characters.

I'm pretty sure they have confirmed that is what you have to do (though I assume that the game is installed from the disc, not the internet).

Yeah, I'm sure you are right, but like I was saying, they don't seem to have solid information yet if they can make comments like that.

Unless MS goes under, I doubt that will happen. Steam supports games from decades ago and I'm sure many of them are hardly ever downloaded. I'm sure MS has the infrastructure to support something like this for the foreseeable future.

From the GameSpot article:

Eh, I'm assuming that the along with the game being tied to your account, you can probably download the entire game from Xbox Live even if you do not have your disc. (If this isn't the case... then god help you MS) It follows that, if the license were ever to be transferred to another account, this capability would be

I find it more interesting that this implies that big publishers do not know how this whole system is going to work.... I would have assumed before that MS would have talked to the major publishers during the development of any new distribution policies.

Ah its cool. I only really had my heart set on those sleeves (I couldn't buy them at the time since I was a poor grad student then). Thanks for the offer though!
