Man, that guy's voice sounds like its about to die.

Douglas Adams would argue that they are one and the same thing.

Looking at screenshots for Yakuza 5, it looks like they've poured too much money into the game to just release it in Japan.

Holy balls, I want this engine inside of me.

Where did you get that image, if I might ask? I'd like to read more about what's under the hood of this engine.

I do agree that Unreal did a better job of highlighting features, though I think that was less of a focus for Square since they have no intention of letting this engine be used outside of their studios (a horrible decision in my opinion, Japanese devs need good middleware engines if they want to survive).

Well, I'd argue that the Square trailer was trying to focus on completely different things: hair, cloth and facial animations, whereas this was focusing on, as you said, the fluids, draw distance and also some cool physics with the crumbling stone walls.

I think people liked that Square trailer mainly because it seemed like an interesting world and the main problem (well my main problem) with Final Fantasy XIII was that the world and the characters were boring as hell. I'll be honest, I don't really look to Final Fantasy games for pushing gameplay forward. As long as

Indeed, with the people commenting that it's "just another cover shooter" I really wonder what gameplay for combat they would have in mind instead... god of war style melee combat or something? If it's going to be portrayed realistically its going to have guns, if there are guns, then yes, being able to take cover is

Yeah, it needs to be a pack-in or maybe even just pre-installed on the system.

No news from Sucker Punch, which I was half expecting. I guess they are working on a next gen launch game. I also was expecting more about Papa and Yo, they did mention it, but no release date or trailer (it comes out this year right?)

I don't think there are any recent Ubi games on GOG.

Game looks pretty awesome. Will pick it up for sure whenever I get a 3DS.

I'm pretty sure that was Explosions in the Sky in the Sim City 5 trailer. I was also pretty happy to hear that.

Seriously, Ubisoft has had its missteps this gen, but it really looks like they are getting on top of things now. I do hope that they will give the AC series a rest after AC3 since it looks awesome and they need to give the franchise some time to breathe. Maybe start putting Beyond Good and Evil and Watch Dogs in the

What's up with Ubi and their choice of hosts for these things? Sure this year wasn't anywhere near as bad as Mr. Caffeine, but damn, wouldnt hurt them to just go with a suit to introduce stuff.

Apparently Cover it Live (the thing they were using before) stopped being free and I guess Gawker is cheap.

Thanks for this, so much better than this crap Storify.

Oh yeah, Cover It Live, I was trying to remember what they were using before.

No, I don't think they used Storify before this.
