It varies state by state. Some states don’t actually hold electors to their pledges legally, and I’m sure that at least some that do have clauses in their laws for the possibility of a candidate dying. I’m sure at least some portion would actually hold the electors to vote for Trump, though.

A second failed impeachment--because the situation in the Senate hasn’t changed appreciably--will only hurt them, rather than help them.  If they’d done the job right the first time, they’d be in a much better position right now.

If the Democrats were worth a single shit they would immediately call for an emergency session and vote on another impeachment this weekend and do absolutely everything possible to force Trump into creating a very public constitutional crisis.

In one of the recent updates, Apple removed the FaceID error message and delay before the passcode prompt came up. Now, FaceID detects part of your face covered and goes straight to passcode. I think that’s good enough.
