They have made it clear multiple times that the face of this gun debate isn’t Black and wont be included. Black lives dont matter to them. Ive often wondered how the country and media would handle a school shooting in the hood.

This whole thing about the student newspaper publishing an “All Lives Matter” piece and then preventing a public rebuttal during, of all things, a Black history presentation is about as clear a double standard as you can get.

I swear to God, that before they held a press conference, I thought that there were no black kids at Marjory Stoneman Douglass High. I admittedly laughed at the video and thought it was funny. That being said, I didn’t think about the waivers that parents sign saying that their child will not be photographed without consent (I’ve had to sign it for my toddler as well). He has had about two years to “be persuaded.” If he can’t realize that he has to address his racial blind spot, in this political reality, then he either doesn’t care to or hasn’t been paying attention.

So at what point will white people look at these various slip-ups and gaffes and excuses about he “misspoke” and “what he really meant was” and all the other stuff surrounding Bernie and say “hey, maybe he has an issue speaking about race”.

Bernie will never admit racism has anything to do with the way white people vote. Remember that mess about Trump voters aren’t racist but feel abandoned by mainstream politicians.

Dem losses during the Obama tenure are a fact, but Sanders is missing the boat on why those losses occurred. White resentment shot through the roof following Obama’s election and while people focused on the national Tea Party candidates, the biggest disruption was in State government.
