That’s pretty much the supposed use case of technology. That tech would alleviate humanity from the most mundane tasks, leaving significant time for upskilling.

Though this only works if people did not have to worry about the bare necessities.

That’s not a good thing, man.
If emulation is bad, please tell me the “good” way for me to play something like Kid Icarus Uprising.

I think you’re vastly overestimating the number of people buying games that even know about most of these issues. Sure, we feel like it’s obvious, but people actually consuming gaming news is really a tiny fraction of the overall user base.

It’s still an accident. It wasn’t intentional. You can call it a wreck, a crash, a collision, recklessness, negligence, extreme disregard for safety. You can label it whatever you want, but he wasn’t intentionally trying to commit suicide.

I was kind of hoping for an expansion of the world and a move away from the “zone” system of the original. I’m sure they’ll drop the loading between those zones and make it a continuous linear route, but, with modern tech, that’s still a disappointment.

Okay, Jimmy, please do name your top five mediations on geopolitics, war, and the military industrial complex in videogames.

Let’s see Spec Ops: The Line and then...? What’s your other four, Jimmy?

What games would you nominate for that title?

are you laughing at mgs or are you laughing at videogames as a medium?  i don’t know what else even tries to comment on this stuff in the medium.  call of duty?

I’m not actually familiar with a lot of games that have these themes but I thought the conscientious was that in between Kojima’s nuttery it delivered the absolute best.

Remember, they said in *the medium*, so specifically video games alone.

It’s a factual statement.

Keep on reading. You’ll get there!

I really hope this isn’t how someone finds out they are color blind or whatever, that would be a wild ride. Not a great mistake to make but can be patched out.

I mean it’s likely that this job of adding the flag was sent down enough times to some lower level developer in charge of Miles’ apartment and there were just verbal instructions attached with the email, or the boss copy and pasted the wrong flag into the email.
