The second-to-last paragraph does not represent a C- movie. I have learned to completely not trust any movie or show reviews from this site over the last year or two, so I’ll def be going to see this. Coen bros (and wife)+lesbian road trip heist drama? Sign me the fuck up, don’t know what this reviewer is smoking.
I said it as soon as this project was announced: it’s totally unnecessary. It won’t be better than the cartoon, and it can’t be nearly as awful as the live action movie. So why make it?
Tacos/burritos, you can’t go wrong with carne asada from BK
I’ve lived in Tucson for a couple of years, and although I haven’t been to these specific restaurants when I lived there, I can agree that it has the best and most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had. If you go to any corner’s unimpressive-looking Mexican taco shop, you’re going to have an amazing meal at super cheap…
Having lived in Tucson for a couple of years, this is one of the few places I remember! The tacos I had here were some of the best I’ve ever had.
Everyone knows that giving Tucker any kind of airtime is just giving him ammunition anyway, just ignore the stupid git and he’ll stop mattering
Unfortunately for him he’s still going up one day later against his former protoge John Oliver, who has a much more streamlined, informative, silly and hilarious show than Jon’s current Daily Show. Where Stewart is digging up old takes (THEY’RE OLD, TUCKER’S DUMB), Oliver is launching $2.4 mil mobile home retirement ch…
Turner D Century is fetch as hell
Eh AVC stopped covering John Oliver articles sometime in the last year or two, aka when everyone stopped trying around here. Oliver’s bit was very funny (“how is this legal??”) but its silly enough to be completely inconsequential. Funny that if he offered it to Thomas secretly and no one ever found out, he might…
Between a democratic corpse and a walking talking fascist, I’ll always take the former.
And this is exactly why I prefer John Oliver now. Not saying he doesn’t address criticism in a funny way as well, but Stewart’s self deprecating shtick has already worn thin and I’m already tired of his segments consisting of “someone says one sentence in a two second clip and then Stewart makes fun of that”. It…
It sounds like they’re trying to make it a very different game than its predecessor, and as they said, it may have started out DLC sized but then they realized the world they were building was too expansive. If they want to make the controls feel different than the first game (which would take a lot of time, seeing as…
Wrong take. Crunch is a thing. The humans making these games have actual lives and they don’t want to spend three months sleeping under their desks and pulling 18 hours days. It’s a goddamn videogame, it’s not worth devs not seeing their families for months on end over.
I completely stand for Jalopnik’s heel turn as a “fuck you Elon” website, and quotes like these from the stupid chuds who continue to buy his shit products are a big reason why.
If this is actually set in the 60s as its poster seemed to imply, then I’m all for it. Matt Shakman did a wonderful job in WandaVision at bringing all of those eras to life, and most of the movie set in the 60s with maybe a jump to our current time at the end or something to inevitably join up with the rest of the…
It’s Florida. We’re lucky he wasn’t issued an AR15 by his police department.
I made a playlist recently of GOOD (old, nothing before 1990) country music. Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton, Willy Nelson, Kenny Rogers...you can argue the merits of the artists as much as you like, but actual country music from the 60s-80s has all sorts of talented artists and masterpieces.
