This is crazy! I am actually down in that area now, we took my son on a boat ride this morning and went on that bridge. The boat guy was telling us all about this and we were floored...now I can confirm with my parents that the guy wasn’t bullshitting us!

Nah, I just see this argument pop up on facebook sometimes, and i have a long commute home to contemplate it!

SO CRAZY. My grandma used to live in Lakewood, plus NJ.com has been all over it. It’s crazy.

And for many Jews, including Jews like me who are not particularly religious or align with any Zionist views, we get scared anytime Jews become everyone’s target. We’ve seen this movie before. It’s like being the person of color in a horror movie. It never seems to end well.

I am in the same boat...I just tried really hard and I can’t think of a single T Swift song, or even articulate precisely what kind of music she makes.

I’m stuck in the 90s, so everything is behind for me. ;)

Gina Gershon has a lot of goodwill from me because of Bound, but she’s quickly ruining it...

When I was in college my school required you to pass a swim class in order to graduate. It was some weird provision from the people who donated the money for the pool.

FWIW he probably also groaned because Costco is notoriously strict with the third parties they use. We had our kitchen floor redone through a Costco deal, and the floor guy explained that Costco is super strict with the standards they have to meet, because Costco sees it as a reflection on their reputation if the 3rd

I’m going through a divorce right now, and it feels like whether or not we get along changes on a daily basis...I wish there was a clear answer to this question.

I am cautiously optimistic, but I do feel like there was a lot of smashing and car chasing for an otherwise not very smash-y book (though they might be just using clips of the final battle, or making the key quests more action packed).

Bingo. Well, we ended up with an Outback, but yea, if you’re looking $30k or less, it’s really hard to justify combing for a used luxury wagon or buying a VW when there’s a bajillion CUV/SUVs that have basically absorbed the wagon market(sorry, I have a deep reflexive hatred of VW from a bad Jetta experience).

I am a sucker for urban fantasy novels, so I’m in for this. Especially if it’s on Netflix and I can have a big MST3K type viewing party if it sucks.

Beach tents rock. As an added bonus (if you have a small person) you can set up the beach tent in your backyard as a play tent when you aren’t at the beach. That way you have an excuse for not collapsing it besides forgetting the instructions. :)

Why not just adapt “Underground Airlines”, which, while flawed, does attempt to address the realism aspect.

Hundreds of college rugby players just collectively muttered “Wimp”.

I would definitely just make your own...my wife whips up homemade ice cream for our son (nut allergies) and her vanilla is to die for...mostly because it’s got a shit ton of heavy cream and real vanilla beans.

So basically NBC realized it was more lucrative to air American Ninja Warrior variations, where America can watch fit people do impossible tasks while crying and competing for money, instead of watching fat people do impossible tasks while crying and competing for money. ;)

Oh I’m not defending him. It’s a huge inconvenience. But sometimes the articles make it sound like the entire coastline is closed, and that’s not the case and it could hurt tourism elsewhere in the state if people think all beaches are closed.

THANK YOU. We pay about 9k in property taxes. Our house cost under $300k, in a very safe neighborhood with excellent schools, a ton of parks maintained by my town, and nearly-monthly townwide community events.
