They killed her off between seasons. Season 3 ended with Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Prue (Shannen Doherty) both injured/smooshed by the windows and wall in a demon attack. Presumably S4 would have picked up with them being rescued, but instead they revealed that Leo, Piper’s husband/whitelighter, healed Piper but

I try to aim for a slightly lighter day. Like this week: yesterday I did 10x10 kettlebell swings with a 5olb weight (50 swings per hand), and since I knew grip and forearms were a bit tender I dropped down to 35lbs today as an “easier” day, then tomorrow plan to go back up to 50 again.

I hate the CR-V. It’s completely shallow, but I think they’ve been getting progressively fatter and uglier over the years. I especially hate the model years with the bulge-y back end, since it makes the damn thing look like it might give birth to a Honda Fit at any moment.

Not normally. But the poor car has had awful luck in the past year. Hit a pothole that did $2,500 worth of damage to the front tires and axle, then my wife backed into a pickup truck for another $2,200...I just fear my insurance company is just going to throw up their hands in frustration before the Carfax gets longer

Mine is to make it all the way through 2017 before I need to replace my Prius. 150,000 miles or bust! (Oh god please don’t bust)

While they aren’t perfect, CAP kettlebells are reasonably priced on amazon, often with free prime.

I liked Underground Airlines...it was one of those books where I finished it and wanted more from the same universe. I think Whitehead did a phenomenal job at shaping not only the story itself but a fully formed and scarily realistic world.

Kate Moennig is for sure a lesbian. And while Carrie Brownstein may not specifically indicate her sexuality, it’s fairly clear she almost exclusively dates women.

This is no joke. We had a Ford Flex get stuck in the snow once (the driveway iced up under it) and I was able to push it free using kitty litter. I also felt like Supergirl because I pushed a Ford Flex, but it was really the kitty litter’s doing. Now we keep a huge bag in our shed!

I rented a Hyundai Velostar while my car was in the shop. It looked fast but accelerated like a go-kart. I called it the Velociraptor and was soooo happy to hand those keys back to Enterprise.

The crazy part with in-shape presidents is how they have to find the fastest secret service guys to keep up. They need guys for whom the president’s pace is an easy one, so they aren’t tanking while on guard duty.

AHHH! We looked at a house once where the owner put one single creepy doll in the middle of the guest bed. It was just sitting there, staring at us...and we couldn’t leave screaming immediately because the owner was also home and stalking us. At one point our realtor went to open a door and she growled “WHAT’S HE

Also a good trick, though hard to implement on demand: get a ticket in a state where it won’t impact your state of origin. I received a speeding ticket when I was in college in MA, but for some odd reason MA and NJ motor vehicle agencies didn’t communicate at the time, so I didn’t get any points on my NJ license, nor

Makes sense. I have a 2008 Prius with 135,000 miles on it, and while I sometimes fantasize about a new car, I plan to drive the Prius until its wheels fall off, because it is 1) paid off, and 2) still getting 40mpg, which is quite nice on my 50 mile round trip commute.

This explains why my kiddo went through a phase of trying that exact thing. We just chalked it up to him being a snuggly kid and he was trying to express affection.

If you don’t want a minivan look at the Ford Flex. Tons of room, plus the third row, and if the third row isn’t in use the dogs will have lots of space. We had one and could pack our 100lab, his bed, and our suitcases with room to spare.

Same reason I won’t buy a Mazda. The closest Mazda dealership is terrible-I don’t know anyone who has owned or tried to buy a car from them with a good story.

Countdown until Netflix or Hulu grabs it...

Really? I went to school in MA and know someone who was on a 72hr hold for a suicide attempt (and it was pretty much a cry for help, since it involved trying to cut herself with a butter knife).

Ok, I am adding Debra Messing back onto my “Brandeis is cool, look who graduated from here” list.
