I nearly hyperventilated trying to read this paragraph that contains ONE PERIOD, although I think I agree with it.

My four-year-old nephew sees a speech pathologist (I do not know enough about his particular issues to elaborate) and he’s at an age where he’ll soon learn the concept of a country and a president. Here’s hoping that we’ll have a kind person in the White House when that happens and that we’ll be able to say to my…
It certainly got very dusty in my cynical room when I saw his speech and I can’t blame the wildfires. Bravo to this kid!
Hands down best moment of the night. Boys are more likely to have speech delays and language difficulties. King George VI had a stutter like Joe Biden, so the kid is in a pretty prestigious club. The DNC was effective in making the case that for all his faults, Biden is a total mensch and it’s not just for show.
Wow, usually war criminal leaders do the “failed artist” thing first.
Another classic example of “Since I made an assload of money doing one thing, anything I say or do should be considered right.”
Then the ghost of Roger Ebert showed up and told her she was pedestrian.
Why would you turn your cyber-bullying summit in to a joke by having Melanie speak?
Yeah the Royal family is about as “modern” as the Pope is “cool.” Yeah. Sure.
I’m all for cat mayors, they can’t do a worse job than some elected officials, but what kind of village are these people running with 280 residents and 7,000 votes?
The only relevant inquiry is whether its scarier to find a clown in the ocean or a clown in space? Answer me that, idiots.
Somebody correct me if I’m wrong but I believe Rudy Giuliani is the first man to have both portrayed a woman, and have been portrayed by a woman on SNL. Unless I’m forgetting some Jeff Sessions sketch where he played Cyndi Lauper back in the 80's.
Here’s the thing — she literally gets no time off at all when the Senate is in session. She can’t predict — hell, we can’t predict — when a vote will take place, whether it will be delayed (ahem Rand Paul), how long it will take etc. She can plan for some childcare with her husband and a nanny, but she can’t possibly…
Some employers (like mine, a state agency) allow mothers to bring babies under 6 months to work with them. This encourages bonding, makes breastfeeding easier, and potentially saves new mommas from paying a few months of astronomical newborn childcare fees.
I second this. Having a child was a personal choice of hers, and now she’s forcing consequence of that choice on others. There are people who love infants, some of them work at day care or pediatric clinics. Others might not be thrilled about having to tolerate an infant at work. Sounds like this lady just wants to…
I agree with you. Full time working mom who pumped here. Yes, you pump and get childcare like everyone else. I get that her job is different and great that they changed the rules but it’s not like her plight is any different than any other working mother. It sounds kind of dramatic to say “what do I do? Leave her…
He works at a shelter for sexual assailants, blindly defends our sexual assailant president, and hired an attorney whose specialty is paying victims of sexual assault to keep quiet.
Here. Cleanse yourself.
