I’ve been a fan since the 70s and, frankly, after the 90s re-birth of mass interest in Abba, that was pretty frigging annoying at times, I don’t care how people get to loving Abba.

What did these creators of catchy ’70s Europop par excellence do to deserve not one, but two dull jukebox musicals?

Burton’s movie had some fun.  The new movies, every iteration by any director, are dour and overly serious.  Can we just have goofiness again?

I think that’s a great idea. If nothing else, there’d be a quality record of the show.  Better than a cast album.
