My only question about Shang Chi would be, does he have enough of a supporting cast? I don't know much about him.

I may never be able to eat fancy ice cream again.

Yeah, she always seems like she's the one who knows what's going on, even when she's not in control.

Huh, then I have to disagree, Wenham looked like he was having a hell of a time to me when he gets to cut loose as zombie murderer Harold

I love that scene and I was rereading it last night. Kind of wish they'd brought Misty in already.

Harold has his day further down the list of episodes.

From the first season of IOB I've seen, you're right. You mentioned exactly what my issue with the show is.

Gao was one of my favorite things about the whole show. She makes every other actor look like they're in a high school play.

'Danny Rand, Nazi puncher for hire'

There's a line in the Immortal Iron Fist comic where Danny says something like he's always jumping in without looking first. And that's great, I would love to see it, but it doesn't really go with the moping Danny they've shown so far.

Much as I would love to see Warren Ellis do Netflix, I wouldn't have thought it was possible to fuck up stealing from all the good Iron Fist stories either…

I get what you're saying. Before they made Iron Fist (which I largely enjoyed for what it is) I would have loved to see a Moon Knight Netflix show. Now I think they'd probably fuck it up.

Did they not? That's a terrible idea.

If you haven't seen it to the end, I'll just say Ward's part gets better and better and the actor does a consistently great job.

Except Moonie doesn't always have powers, most of the time he's a nutcase who just happens to be genuinely dangerous.

To be fair, the interview where he talks about only having fifteen minutes of rehearsal for some fights makes it sound like it was a show problem, and not just him.

Ok, now I want an 'I went to Asia-ask me about my Iron Fist' shirt.

I kind of want a supercut of Finn Jones staring at the fist like "WTF is this thing again?"

If by weird you mean profoundly stupid then I agree. It's not like there are any lack of low-powered, NYC marvel characters they could have used instead if they wanted to save money.
Moon Knight comes to mind, or Shang Chi, of course.

Right now, I'm way more interested in a Daughters of the Dragon spin off than I am Heroes for Hire. I guess I'm hoping the chemistry in Defenders is good.
