I agree that gamer “outrage” can be pretty tiresome sometimes.  That said, these seem like legitimate criticisms that are relevant to a purchase decision.  If they delivered less than they promised, consumers should be informed.

Well you’re throwing the baby out with the bathwater here and this article isn't "gamer outrage," it's level-headed criticism of a product

Oof. I’ve never heard it described this way and it’s so true. Also why acquaintance rapes don’t count-- because the woman is, in some way, already the property of her assailant.

And the stranger rape is troubling precisely because that woman belonged to someone else. Maybe it was her boyfriend, or husband, or father. But the stranger took the property of someone else.

I want to make confetti with that statement and dump it on the electoral college.

A few years ago, maybe 2013 or 14, Secretary Hillary Clinton came to my work (not Wall Street, tech company) for a fireside chat and to promote her book. She talked at length about her experience as SOS, and one thing she discussed was how much “small offenses” matter to so many leaders and countries around the world,

People think the worst things about the Trump presidency is that Donald Trump is a hate-spewing, divisive narcissist with no experience or plan.

But the worst thing for me is that Mitch McConnell is happy.

The fact that he’s self-aware and in on the joke is a big part of it. Lookswise he is Chris Pine adjacent but in terms of personality he’s all about switching the script. This probably has something to do with his (real) background as a male stripper. He’s smart enough despite the tater comments—his success is proof

She needs to go sit in a coffee shop and be judging people on listening to mainstream music.

I know its supposed to be a Barbie Dall but I see Charlie Bradbury action figure

Her hair looks beautiful, and I can’t imagine what actual problem there could be with it. Zara have opened themselves up to some serious problems here I think. Unless they have an actual “no braids” policy, which I highly doubt they do.

It’s tiny sorry, but I was able to read it with some effort...

By using that word, and using it awkwardly, you might as well be wearing a gigantic, neon “I’m A Pretentious College Student Who Just Learned A New Word” sign on your head.

By “defense lawyer” you of course mean “over-worked, under-paid public defender with a hundred other cases on their desk.”

This is one of those times when the cycle of violence is so blindingly obvious, and yet we don’t see it until it’s too late. A few sources have dug this up from a few years ago... he’s on pg. 12.

College student tries to use big word, fails.

Yeah. That’s a good point. I guess I was just thinking in terms of this kid ever getting any type of fair trial, or worried that the police, understandably under pressure, would jump to conclusions and possibly leave a murderer out there. That “Making a Murderer” really fucked me up.

If he hadn’t added the “active investigation,” at the beginning then the defense might have a case. But being optimistic about finding the killer based on evidence is not a crime.

I really hope this guy actually did it, cause I can’t imagine that a homeless teenager will be getting the kind of resources he needs to adequately fight this if he’s not.
