Ernest is a great name for a cat - it's a good, hearty name.

The weirdest named cat I ever had was named "Mushka", which is just Croatian for cat.

My exact thought on these pieces were "gays cannot get married in most states but these assholes can?"

That's what I was going say. As much as I love RBG, I really do not want another conservative on the Supreme Court.

That wouldn't surprise me at all. It's also not a huge surprise that marriages spawned out of affairs generally fail.

Their was a piece on Slate yesterday about a married woman who pretends she is not married in certain situations to fit in better. If you need to lie about your marital status, you probably shouldn't be married.

I think it's closer to #3. Most women who keep a guy waiting in the wings (at least that I've met) end up either dumped by the guy they're with or end up sleeping with the back-up guy.

Getting shit-faced and inappropriately hitting on every male actor that dares venture near their set.

Also, this happened in the UK, which does not have the same protection of free speech as the US.

"If you can't threaten to rape a celebrity, what is the point in having them?"

Yeah I want to be bffs with T-Swift. We can knit things and play with her cats.

Nope, according to my book you get to keep your feminist card. TBH, meeting Sister Helen Prejean (the nun who wrote Dead Man Walking) when I was 18 was a fabulous and memorable experience.

See, I think that depends on where people think conception begins. Not to be too preachy or political, I consider myself pro-choice while being against the death penalty because I don't consider a 12 week old clump of cells a 'life'. That's just my take, though.

Yea I don't know how they held themselves back. I would have been pissed.

That's some serious cognitive dissonance there, considering how many innocent people have been on death row.

Local chains, I'm assuming (I'm not from Maine and I've never heard of them).

A lot of Catholics I know are pro-life, which means that in addition to being against abortion, they are against the death penalty and war as well.

That is awful. Air fare is so expensive during those days too! That's just some really poor or really evil planning.

It would have been. One of my friends is a server in Portland, ME. A local businessman who has 3 or 4 franchises came into her establishment to have some drinks and play darts. A mixed-race family with an infant was there as well and the local businessman kept joking about throwing darts at the little negro baby,
