I have some hair scissors that I use for my bangs and I usually use them for my all of my hair - one night, I couldn't find them and got impatient, so thus came the kitchen scissors.

Exactly. Unless you are taking kitchen scissors to my hair* it's going to take you almost 30 minutes to brush it out. When I get it done at a salon, I don't have them blow-dry since it takes forever to dry my hair.
