What about his take on ‘respect’?
What about his take on ‘respect’?
Last night Jax Teller stole my 2005 Windstar (not a euphemism).
And let’s not even start on rhizomes. Look how confused Deleuze and Guattari got when they tried to explain it!
I agree that is what he meant. However, I don’t think Mr. Spears would be persuaded by any type of discussion about what counts as consent. He appears to be firmly entrenched in his gross interpretation.
What are you saying?
I bet someone somewhere is investigating a way to instrumentalize this disease for weight loss in the fat.
Listen, no need to worry. There are still plenty of spaces, including this one, where fat hate thrives. At Gawkerverse we sometimes see it as concern for health or concern for others getting enough to eat, but really, it’s the same old hate with a different bow. At least those redditors were honest, upfront and…

When I played the video I had to watch a commercial for dog food; while I understand why this video seemed appropriate to put this on, it did make me connect their food to dog shit.
Kara, did someone you know (a recently injured-in-a-car coworker, perhaps) recently post a gruesome picture of their post-operative legs somewhere? (Best wishes and a swift recover to Ms. Carmichael.)

I hate to quibble, but cancer is not normal. The definition of cancer always includes the term ‘abnormal cells’. I don’t think we should like or accept cancer.
I am ashamed at how you speak for the rest of the world. “Endulge” yourself in a dictionary - available free online. Also, maybe if you are such a super warrior for the global underclass, be specific and say “North America”. Central and South America exist, and as a group these land masses are commonly referred to as…
I see your message of hate promotion as very dangerous. It has resulted in measurable discrimination of fat people in all major areas of life. Also, I don’t know what an obesity activist is and am tempted to think it exists only in your mind.
It is no one responsibility but your own to educate yourself. It is obvious you know how to use the internet, Google Scholar and Google Books anxiously await your visits.
I, too, am disappointed with her. As a fat activist, which she is because she is using her body in ways that are usually not open to all fat people, I feel she has a responsibility to try and understand discrimination and how it operates, and not add to it.
Obesity is normal, sorry you don’t like it.
I have given Adibisi’s hat some long and hard thought and come to the conclusion it is a fascinator.
