But,”Sexy at Every Size”, too ... very conflicted cover.

I think they are coul-lacks?

Well, I feel dumb now. I didn’t even think to look at his other discussions. When I saw the avatar it completely reminded me of your beet and I got excited because I hadn’t seen a post from Fresh Beets or Global Beets in a while. I really do enjoy your posts and am glad you’re back. Hope you were taking time out to

Tit touques?

I think the key might be to find someone who has reviewed shows in a way that you agree with. Maybe someone who finds the same things dramatic/funny, etc. And, remembering that, really, they are only giving their opinion and you can disagree with them.

That’s too bad about Beets. I thought he added to the conversation. Why they would want only people who agreed with them is beyond me. That’s a boring conversation that no one can learn from.

Your joyful little blueberry avatar is so cute. Anyway, this is just one person’s opinion. Which of these shows (if any) will you be watching? BTW, did you used to go by the name Fresh Beets? I used to read their posts all the time.

All the beautiful people who are amazing in and at their careers despite their odd and unsuitable-for-their-jobs personality quirks is really getting old for me. I know these lawyers and doctors are tortured and brilliant, okay? I am over it. Can we at least get new outfits for these old stories?

Nah, don’t worry about it, according a student a Guelph University in Ontario “... the cows do not show any signs of discomfort during the experiments. In fact most of them continue eating and enjoy the loving scratches the students give them...”.

When you say standardized patients, does that mean that the volunteers meet some sort of ‘normal’ conditions around height, weight, age, etc? I am not questioning your statement. I am just asking for more information that I normally wouldn’t have access to.

Hey, has anyone else been strangely fixated by that brown post in the foreground of the picture posted for this story? The first time I looked at it I thought it was a giant chocolate spiral and it reminded me of chocolate fountains. It is a particularly chocolatey shade.

Well, I think Kris not being “really good with it and understanding of it” really would be an irreconcilable difference and Kris may support him completely but still not want to be with someone who identifies as a woman. I think all these things can simultaneously co-exist.

But, even when Bruce talks about himself in the future he said it in the third person, as if he will no longer be there. I have to think that for him there is some of that same feeling that the Bruce that was is going away and a new person is coming to take his place. I think it is unfair to expect his family to feel

I get the feeling that anything that does not have to do particularly with Scott is only peripherally understood by Scott and not cared at all about Scott. I am surprised he gave any thought at all to why Bruce would want his Adam’s apple shaved.

I don’t know of any particular group dedicated to making the built environment more amenable or usable by fat people. However, I know that fat activists have started doing things to be able to participate in the world more easily. For instance, taking their own chairs to events that they don’t think will have seating

As a fellow fat woman who has her own health problems and is fat positive, I understand where you are coming from. This is one of the reasons I have been unable to wholeheartedly embrace the HAES principles. There needs to be a place where we are not judged for our size or health, especially when individuals are

I used to think of Jezebel as a fat positive site, and it is when compared to mainstream sites. However, I have commented on various stories with a fat centric, fat positive perspective. These have neither been replied to a lot or starred a lot. As a fat positive Deathfat woman I have a certain experience of the world

It is more that we are taught to think of certain features as unattractive, rather than really deciding for ourselves what is attractive to us. If the only way fat bodies are portrayed in media is as unattractive and sick and as a burden to society we take in those ideas and messages without always recognizing it. I

Wow, that is one self-possessed looking cat. And beautiful, too. He looks like there is something that has temporarily caught his interest in that photo.
