I maintain these people just need to be left behind. Forget about dragging them towards progress or a better world. Let them die out. They’re not built to survive in a thinking person’s world. Social Darwinism.

Oh that would be amazing.

You should reconsider the self-indulgent idea that the problem is that there aren’t enough media sources reciting your particular viewpoint.

I also want EASY D.

My theory, and I have watched every episode of House: all that gum he swallowed is blocking his bile ducts, causing jaundice.

Is there any evidence that he generated any money for anything? Remember that you are replying to an article about someone who explicitly said he isn’t interested in donating his own money to the charity he is associated with.

I just don’t think it really matters WHY you give money/time to charity...it all amounts to the same thing in the end, regardless of the intent.

Not to mention the tax benefits the get from establishing their own foundations.

Yup. Remember Piers Morgan and the fucking voicemails?

Honestly, I don’t care why he does charity stuff, as long as he does it.

Oh, I was actually just talking about SNL sketches. The only thing I’d ever seen with her before this was when I kind of half-watched the Rifftrax version of Twilight, so I didn’t really understand the fuss (not really her fault that material didn’t work, in truth).

This will not happen.

This is pretty dumb.

Well, we can do something about the things we have control over and change course, or we can throw up our hands and get angry because doing the same thing over and over somehow keeps leading to the same result.

The “political purity” that a number of people on the left demanded from their candidate in 2016 will cost Dems/Progressives the next election.

Would pay first-run ticket prices for it.

She’s pretty convincing playing a terrifyingly sexy lesbian femme fatale.

Yup.

Yeah. This is the point that matters. He may not personally care about one thing or another, but he doesn’t have the basic human decency to object to one of his advisors’ ideas. I know it’s clear now to everyone but I just want to reiterate the point that no one should be taking comfort from the fact that he may not

This is a good post. Also, up until this SNL episode, I never quite understood Mallory Ortberg’s thing for Kristen Stewart, but now I totally get it.
