Absolutely. My point is just that health care is a system that has not ever worked with a “small government” system; the most effective healthcare systems are ones in which the government operates as the payer.

Well, the problem is that a smaller government doesn’t have the ability to provide programs to treat addiction as an illness, and private organizations don’t have any incentive to do so, because treating addiction is not, in itself, a good way to make money.

The implication is that eating lots of veggies provides fiber which prevents constipation.
