Wow, I’m sorry but this really discredits Richard Spencer.

Yeah, I didn’t say they were...

You seem to be missing the fact that Tilda Swinton decided to contact Margaret Cho, while presumably the screenwriter of the film didn’t.

I find it astonishing that there are people who can even stand to watch “Rob & Chyna”. I guess I can relate to the horrified fascination but any exposure to them for longer than it takes to read a blog post would make me nauseated.

Look, a white person is still super, super convinced that racial minorities have gone too far with this anti-racism stuff.

This!!!! Have people not been following this? No? Obviously. Cho was ripping assholes and naming names. Someone ( a named) tried to open a line of communication ( while not perfect, yay!) Cho shut that shit down really fast. So while Cho is right about most of the argument, she’s an asshole and this looks like just a

She doesn’t seem to have a problem with doing interviews on the subject on the regular.

Yup.

Look, a white person is super, super convinced that racial minorities have gone too far with this anti-racism stuff.

I still don’t get why it wasn’t OK for Tilda to reach out and ask.

Why didn’t Cho go after the produer and director and Marvel for that matter for casting Swinton in the first place?

So, you wish she had “started a very important discussion” about the things white people want to discuss about race.

Yes. She is a beautiful, incredibly talented actress who has had the luck to float through life blithely unaware of the incredible degree of privilege that her patrician ancestry gave her. Both in public and in private.

“Scottish Highlander”?

I mean, is your point really that another white person gave her the idea? Because that’s . . . self-refuting.

And we have an extremely talented actress on the one hand, and a kinda-sorta-used up C lister on the other. It’s not as if it’s hard to figure out which of the two is milking the situation for attention and clicks.

Pretty sneaky thing for Cho to do, huh?

I’m not sure what the problem is.

White people don’t listen to people of color’s opinions on race enough, but don’t dare ask a person of color their opinion on race because nothing could be more insulting.

Ask a math teacher.
