Dude, idk. As an educator, I can say that recognizing about 400 students’ faces and (and some of their parents!) isn’t a huge obstacle if you’ve got them in context.

Even if one buys the “435 Members” argument, she’s not just any member. She’s sponsored not one but two high-profile bills addressing cyber-harassment. She’s been on SXSW panels advocating against cyber-harassment.

I mean, it sounds like that guy is a jerk, but some of us are shit at recognizing faces and depend heavily on other incidental features of people’s appearance to recognize them. Studies indicate as much as 2% of the population may meet the diagnostic criteria for prosopagnosia.

If you’re a receptionist, you’d better be able to recognize every Member (npi) on sight, if you want to keep your job.

It’s not actually a “black eye” if the only effect it has is to confirm the beliefs of people who are looking for petty reasons to hate him.
