I have seen way too many women be called “Becky” for attempting to be a vocal ally to blame any man for thinking the best option is to shut up and listen.

They were supposed to stay quiet and listen. Had they not, you would have reworked this article to shit all over whatever they said. Give it up for fucks sake. Jesus, as a fun game why don’t you try and list how many fucking authors on this site have repeatedly demanded that these men shut up and listen. Don’t any of

Why are we even dragging the troll out the greys?

The audacity of that man.

That has happened to me a couple of times. Now I draw a line through the address, along with writing ‘Wrong address, return to sender”, so the sorting machine at the post office doesn’t keep sorting it into our carrier’s basket. It seems to work.

Which is weird, because the original Rosanne seemed to be more on the liberal side. I mean, she led a union-based walkout at the plant, dealt with the issue of a single mom, had a friend who was a lesbian, etc. I’m not saying all those issues makes someone a progressive, but she choose to include them in her show.

Into the shredder it goes.

The secret is the bar code at the bottom of the envelope. *That* is the mail address as far as the USPS is concerned.

I’ve had return-to-sender marked letters redelivered to me. The post office said that I should cross out the address too, or else it might be tossed backed into the system and re-wrongly-delivered.

We kept getting the same letter back - at least ten times. Same number on the address but a few letters off in the street. Think Crest/Coast. Handwrote (in pen) on the letter- “please deliver to correct address listed”...with an arrow pointing at it- but the next day, it’s back in our box. I’m not home during the day

The difference is you won’t see me eating margarine.

Also, everything made with margarine tastes like food cooked by people who don’t know how to cook

The book is EXCELLENT and the Versace section is maybe about a fifth of it. It’s much more of a study of how police departments and the feds knew very little about gay communities in the ‘90s and how police departments from different cities and states REALLY don’t now how to cooperate with each other.

God, is this ever the truth. Does anyone actually think this is accomplishing anything ?(except giving think piece writers who need to constantly be churning out content something easy to write about)

They say something, you write a scathing takedown of their inadequate responses.

Eh, I hate that sort of chemophobe argument. It’s only slightly different than “Oh no! Yoga mat bread! Dihydrogen Monoxide? Keep it away from my kids!” Lots of safe chemical compounds are only “a few bonds shy of being” something undesirable. We shouldn’t let that necessarily scare us.

no, pour one out for me tho. what a stupid fucking comment to make, how incredibly ignorant and tone deaf.

Omg point out those people who said that to you and I would gladly shove my foot right up their ass and wear them as shoes. That’s just hateful.

Yup. I’m old and don’t have time for this shit anymore. I’m not going to thank someone for calling me a cunt.

On one hand: awesome. On the other hand: I’m a little too exhausted from the work of my own life to take on fixing people who call me a cunt, whether they’re in pain or not. Lots of people in pain don’t call me a cunt. I think I’ll work on helping them.
