You don’t understand that a community activist was asking for her help, and that this was not an example of a “demand from a fascist” to reaffirm a position.

I get that, but she was literally at a panel held by the Muslim Caucus Education Collective, being asked a question by a community activist from the Muslims for Progressive Values. Not exactly shocking that an Islam-specific issue would come up.
