If I’m voting for a Colorado geologist for president, it’s certainly not going to be Hickenlooper.

Easily win? What makes people think this? He just lost to Ted Cruz less than a year ago in an election where Democratic voter turnout was astronomical. Texas hasn’t elected a Democrat to the Senate since 1988. It’s a Presidential election, so the Texan Trumpers are going to be out in full force.

I don’t know Hickenlooper’s history well enough to agree or disagree, to be honest.  I would certainly hope he’s not another Manchin, though.

Great idea. In fact, we should just have every country in the world do a draft for world leaders. The country with the lowest GDP per capita gets the first overall pick, and the country with the highest gets the last.

Many would make the argument that permanent residents of the US who pay taxes and contribute to society should indeed have the right to vote. They live here, they work here, they pay taxes here, and the only difference between them and US citizens is the spot on the earth where their parents fucked.
