I mean, I know, I’m just saying that the original scene with the throw and the reaction from Thor was so perfect that they could have stopped there.

Did she do them in chronological order?
I know, it’ll be a while. One can dream, though.
You’re absolutely right, actually.
There are countless lists of creepy quotes, but one that strikes me, in this context, is this one:
Yep. I mean, they’ve been trying to sell him as Mr. Wholesome Milk Moustache from the get go. His big heart and earnestness is what gets Steve Rogers chosen to be Captain America in the first place. But it was somewhat over the top. It resulted in Cap admonishing Tony for foul “language” during battle, for example.
Totally agree, it’s such a perfect addition to that scene for exactly the reasons that you mention.
Ohhhhh, crap, that makes sense, thanks.
In Age of Ultron there’s a scene where the Avengers are all just hanging out bullshitting. They each try to pick up Mjolnir with no success whatsoever, until Cap tries, and it ever...so...slightly moves as Thor’s face shows a bit of panic. (This is why Thor yelled, “I KNEW IT!” when he saw it happen in Endgame.)
Trump menacingly pointed finger-guns at the NRA crowd, demonstrating his version of the mass-shooting.
Nick - What’s your take on the post-credits audio stinger? Meaningful or meaningless?
Or Ultimus.
Rosebud was Cap’s shield.
If someone ever came to me looking for advice on how to get started, I’m not sure how I would get them into the movies. Like, an obvious answer would be to watch chronologically, but after Iron Man, getting through The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man II, and two Thor movies might be a challenge to start with.
Eh. To each their own.
The movie was flawed, for sure. The first act did drag a bit. Actually, the second act kind of did too. Time shenanigans must be ignored. Black Widow’s sendoff felt too small.
I use Turbo Tax because it’s easy and worth the money. (That said, there’s 100% no reason why the IRS shouldn’t develop their own version of what Turbo Tax does for fuck’s sake.)
1997 Twitter: “Titanic is going down in theaters this Friday, but guess which intern was going down in the White House!”
Yesterday was “Brink Your Funklets to Work, Then Take Them To Dinner, Then Take Them to the Endgame Premiere, And Somehow Don’t Be Smart Enough To Take Friday Off of Work” day.
