Clearly this is all happening on a soundstage. Just like the lunar landings. Duh.

I was just going to say the exact same thing.

To flip, or as the reward for all of this?

Not bad. I think with the right access to parts and cash and time it could be fun at some point...again, not as a way to make real dollars, but just something enjoyable. If you're turning them that quickly, that's damn impressive.

Now that I'm getting sucked into reading these car flipping stories, what's your average turnaround time on these like? I'm in no position to even think about doing anything like this, especially not to try and actually live off of it, but just curious.

Mmm, Carlsberg. Good to see the Jalopnik foreign correspondent budget is enough to pay for one beer.

I dig it. Definitely sounds different than what you would expect, can't really describe it other than burble-y. But that isn't an adequate description either.

Awesome indeed. That was great.

Maybe everything since 2002...I'll take the old 7.3 damn near any day.

I've had a half ton Chevy for the last decade, my dad has a 2000 F-250 with the 7.3L and virtually no miles on it. I've only owned GMs, he somehow became a Ford loyalist. I used to be very active on one of the big GM truck forums, and still have many friends from there. I say all that to say this...

It's also one dolla

Interpol was the free student concert my Freshman year at the U of I. Was on the floor for it. Good times.

However, in HD trucks, the diesel/transmission combo is closer to 20%, obviously depending on how the trucks are optioned. When the Duramax first came out, the motor plus the required Allison (or ZF-6...but those were much less popular and didn't cost as much) was an $8000 option. This was before truck prices got

Moved to NC from Illinois in the fall, we'll call that one a narrow miss as far as winter goes. This morning I saw 1.5" of powder outside....left a few minutes early just incase. Proceed to use the skinny pedal to steer my truck through my apartment complex this morning (still got it!). And then had the fastest

In the interest of having rested and safe drivers, I'll drive the whole hour to meet you at VIR, turn the lap(s) while you guys go to the bathroom and get lost or whatever it is you jalopnik-types do at VIR.

Tilt column...from when people used to always tilt them up to get out of their car. Don't know why, but that always irked me.

I'm positive I had some legitimate reason to be out of town during that weekend, but now I'm thinking I probably should've stuck around and ventured the whole hour away for a bit. Shucks.

You're confusing it with a much newer, Navistar era International logo. The old one (had this been an International) would be the red I and black H.

I grew up with a dad that had (still has I guess) a 68 Charger R/T that is an original Hemi car...dad bought the car in the early 70s and never parted ways with it. To date, I still haven't ever driven the car, or heard it run. Honestly the last time it was outside was behind my truck on a trailer when he moved. But,

I love old Mopars, we've got 2, so its great to see someone focus on them. I also loved "The Office." Never did I want the two combined, yet that's exactly what this show is, could be titled "Michael Scott restores cars." Sadly, I'll keep watching it because their work really is top notch, and again, it's old Mopars.
