In fact, I WAS at VIR last weekend. Unfortunately I’ve not yet even looked at any of the 5700 photos I shot. But it was a great weekend as all VIR weekends are. (This was was my 3rd Oak Tree Grand Prix in a row, not many, but enough to get a good feel for it.)

Happy you got a chance to check that out. I know I rambled on about it at that bar in Durham in December, I hope I did it justice.

Passed a guy in one on the way to work sometime last month. He seemed to be enjoying himself. I don’t know what it’s like to be wrong about your own feelings...but that guy was.

Still sounds like a decent story....like, was the purchase price $5k, or is it a $5k bill for it being completely jacked. Plus, you can't just buy an H1 and go on like it's nothing exciting!

And this is where I feel special for having heard about this a few months ago. Well done!

The fact that this was filed under satire just makes me hope that someone thought this was serious at one point.

3 cars in Prototype Lites...1 driven by Enzo, the team owner, and another driven by his son. Take that out and you've got one remaining Lites car and then the PC car.

I just saw a link about this the other night. The car is very cool, in a very odd dated way, and the guy....we need more of him.

That's exactly why I want one.

One of these is on my radar for a 2016 purchase. I just can't swing the $50k for one with 3 pedals. Seeing how the 2014 has depreciated, it will be right where I want it to be in 12-18 months, since they seem to be between $34-39k. I've been looking on auto trader to see if one exists, and evidently the same anomaly

I was in a couple group chats while the race was going on. None of us could believe that happened. I'm a big Ganassi fan, and was thrilled to see the 02 win the race...but not like that.

Not the point I was making.

lawl.

I came here to say the same thing about photos. If you aren't credentialed, make sure to have a step ladder to get yourself up over the 6' fence, a towel doesn't hurt either, since chain link is pointy.

II have no idea. But my truck can certainly tow a loaded car trailer...

Hmmm. I hear U-Haul rents trailers, I have a beater truck with a hitch. I've found your solution!

sooo....are you going to pick the car up in Richmond? Because that's like an hour and a half away...and...yeahhh.

nevermind...now that I scroll farther I see that it's in the land of Torch. (Who, might I add, let me drive the Beetle on Saturday. Fright inducing.

I'm now in North Carolina. Time to go on a quest.

I'll double up on what heliochrome85 said, since he's visiting me this weekend....and I'm about 5 minutes from Chapel Hill. So, in the spirit of asking anything...drinks and discussing the merits of the torchbug?
