ha!

Eh, sometimes I keep looking after I find them, just to be sure.

We appear to have been at the same place at the same time. I'm just getting ready to post photos from the weekend. Got a little busy and lazy and haven't had a ton of time to dedicate to them. That was my first TA race, awesome racing, I thought at least.

Tom - that happens, and your wife's employer should be less...shitty. However, that and reasonable accommodation are regularly abused. Which is why, at the government agency I do HR work for, the reasonable accommodation process has become incredibly lengthy and convoluted. As with anything, a few bad apples ruins

Wouldn't it?! It's a shame that they haven't been back since CCWS stopped existing. First track I ever drove.

OK, so you aren't an Indycar fan. Got it.

Isn't Ford pulling out of drag racing next year? Am I making that up.... I can't remember if John Force was just losing Castrol as a sponsor, or if was Ford and Castrol.

That seems to be more of a Ford Motorsports promo reel, than just a GT350 promo reel.

Very well put Stef. Admittedly, I find myself more of an IndyCar and sports car fan these days as opposed to F1, but I'm still a more devout F1 fan than many. There's no reason why everyone can't coexist. Fans will go where they can, and a ticket deal will entice casual fans and bystanders to attend. More activity

I've had a couple conversations with people about Road America - IndyCar wants to go back, and RA people want a race. There's just that little issue of $$$$$$$. Without a title sponsor (though you would think some of the local businesses, Kohler, Johnsonville, Sargento, et. al, may be able to work a deal, especially

I'll do you one better, when I was 17 a decade ago and went to my first USGP at IMS and got to hear the V10s. Talk about amazing.

Yep. The feels. There they are.

Fair point. Very fair point.

What a story. I consider myself an Indy history buff, and had never heard this. It'd be cool to see him make a return, somehow, to some sort of professional motorsport in some capacity.

Fun story. Head East is from Central Illinois, as am I. Before I moved out of the state, I used to moonlight as a sound guy. Was working some charity event and the remnants of this band were the opening act...and didn't know they were the opening act...for a country cover band. They got a little upset when they

In a word, yup.

A day late to the party..but. Certainly a foolish act on his part, no one will argue that. The other side of that is that's always how he's behaved on a race track - some may say it's good to see him back at it.

Me too! Granted, that was more than once...but I love that place.

The only thing on TGUSA anymore are challenges, with a 5 minute "review" at the end of the show.

And now I realize I'm not the only one that chuckles/laughs when driving something fun.
