You should probably read my reply again: I'd specified the use of the term "illegals" as a noun. While "illegal immigrant" is also problematic, referring to a human being as "an illegal" is offensive.

Seriously, using the term "illegals" (noun) to describe immigrants is highly offensive. It's dehumanizing and inappropriate.

The study was attempting to analyze a variety of prohibitive legislation, including mandatory waiting periods and parental consent/notification, not just "so-called misinformed consent" policies.
