"So why do men do all this ethical maneuvering? Well, it comes down essentially to the fact that they'll do anything to keep their masculinity from being threatened. If they find themselves in a situation where that's happening, they'll get more aggressive and competitive and do whatever is necessary to win."
The gender gap isn't all on the dishonesty of men.
Fair enough. The study seemed to imply that the conclusion could be extrapolated into the broader population, but since they'd only used business students as subjects there's no way of knowing that (until they do a study with a broader subject pool).
Good night ladies.
If the study were just about unscrupulous behavior of business students during negotiations, then why is there a gender gap (meaning, why does their research show female business students are more likely to engage in ethical behavior than male business students)?
This is what Linda Babcock's (Carnegie Mellon University) research revolves around: the role negotiating plays in how much money women earn. Her book Women Don't Ask covers all of this. It's a great read.
How about we have a discourse where we recognize that men and women are completely different, without either side proclaiming they are better.
Your time would be better spent reading the articles so you don't miss important facts and then make uninformed comments as opposed to "saving" Internet descriptors for you.
Plus, this sounds like a horribly executed study that would be laughed at when peer-reviewed.
It's hip to be square.

Everyone needs towels and toasters. Can't go wrong there.
I've already googled to see where the closest Penneys is. One can never have too many bath towels!!!
urging us to stop trying to seduce innocent men for one second and make a trip to the voting booth.
It was twinkling, now it's all settled. :) (I just got starred here). Also, thanks so much for the promotions!
I love all of them, too. They look fun!
I'm not "fascinated" with the sociopaths when I watch Law & Order. I'm "fascinated" with watching the sociopaths get caught and go to fucking prison. The concept of justice is what's "fascinating."
If I get started on "conscience clauses" this early in the morning, I'll end up going psychotic at work. Very scary times indeed, and their tactics seem haphazard and illogical but they have a master plan (it's sad that the only thing keeping all repro rights from being wiped out is the anti-choicers' greed).
If something went wrong enough to be admitted to a hospital, wouldn't the hospital be obligated to take her regardless of who her doctor is?
