It’s not even a real hatchback end. It’s like ... someone stretched it in MS Paint.

Yeah this always made sense to me. I do agree it was probably staged with the expectation that “we’re just not going to plan around it running out of charge and make that the downside” because at the time, that was indeed a HUGE downside!
I was there. For any major destination it was, relative to inflation, more or less the same, especially when You factor in all the fees we get these days.
We should just go back to mandates routes and fixed prices. Make the airlines compete on service again like they did before deregulation. Also, split them the fuck up.
American Airlines has moved from “miles” to “dollars” entirely and while the old EQM + EQD requirements was kind of a pain to manage sometimes, it was doable to hold status with only a few trips a year.
There are still people who don’t buckle in? Seriously? In 2024?
That doesn’t really help at Superchargers does it?
Tesla DOES have to enable the communication with vehicles via those adapters. Third party ones work with Fords and Rivians from what I’ve seen, because Tesla has allowed those communication protocols to talk back to the supercharger, and owners can add those vehicles to charge via the app.
Now Amazon can let May do his traevlogues until he’s ready to retired properly.
This interior was one of the nicest Audi ever did, and these things were a blast to drive (I had a coupe version in the mid aughts) but $13K? I think I paid less than $25K for mine and that was with less miles, and it was only a year old. (MSRP was $40K IIRC)
The panoramic windscreen thing on the Lucid ruins it. Way too much light comes in and the flaps are too small. Worse than a Model X if You can believe that.
This has gotta be a money laundering thing, right?
Man I’m getting FB Marketplace ads for 2014-2016ish i8s all over the place. Most look like they’re decently taken care of, but they didn’t add CarPlay until I think 2016, and I never want to use BMW’s infotainment system (especially from 2014!) ever.
Musk is pouring $45 million per month into a Trump PAC (so he says).
Buying a VW GTI and getting a First Act GarageMaster painted tuned to the colour of the car was always a weird one.
The only thing I can think of about the Versa, really, is that it was a central character in Season 1 of Heroes.
Barbosa uploaded the license to the Uber app. She used the woman’s name but her own insurance and registration. She entered her own iCloud email and phone number and set her own picture—brown hair, brown eyes—on the driver profile. She made up a Social Security number, submitted the application, and went to sleep.
I made the mistake of, for some reason, buying a Fiat 500L and it was hands down the biggest piece of shit car I’ve ever owned, and I’ve owned a pre-Ford Range Rover.
Milford retook the Sorento because they couldn’t find a third party lender to approve Rodriguez and the dealer “did not want to be bound by the (retail installment sales) contract.”
Not SUPER surprised the C40 Recharge sold poorly considering the XC40 Recharge is larger and roomier for more or less the same price.
