Touch screens were making inroads before Elon, and have long since expanded and taken over car infotainment in the mass market. Touch screens are actually safer for many functions than trying to navigate screen menus (which are never going away) with little knobs and dials and buttons.

There is a happy medium for sure.

For a daily trip mudding or rocking around off road a few miles from paved roads? Sure. For extended offroad camping? Hell no. Even as a hardcore EV-angelist (haha see what I did there?) and lover, off roading where You’re away from the grid for more than 24 hours is a recipe for disaster. Solar panels aren’t good…

Exclusivity is ALWAYS done with consideration. That’s how the industry works.
