If more games begin to use gyro-aim with cross-platform capabilities, they should be grouped with M&K players. I’ve seen arguments that gyro aim is even better than mouse aiming.

No, the goal is to RETAIN existing consumers. 

IMHO Sony and Microsoft both need to require purchases be made through established XBL and PSN accounts, with deference given to the oldest accounts. You sign up for a notification, when it’s your turn and one is allocated to you, you get 24 hours to check out, or on to the next person it goes.
