Not being snarky, but do you understand how most company strategy P&L’s don’t distinguish between the two? Money not spent is the same as money earned when it comes to planning your long term business strategy because it props up other revenue-generating expenditure. 

Part of this is them trying to thread the needle on PC cross-play and doing a not great job of it because corporate marketing terminology at a company the size of Microsoft is very, very hard. 

As several European countries have shown, in a relatively even playing field, EV’s win by a decent margin for most consumers, even with the NA-based petro-companies getting the US-based subsidies while operating in Europe.

Still feels better than the previous generational jumps. If I can buy a Series X and play the same game with my friends on their One X or One S, then ... cool.
