Tesla is building a massive factory in Germany, is still expanding Nevada and Shanghai, as well as building out its charger network and you seem to expect them to turn a profit on vehicles alone? Reinvestment requires capital. Growth requires reinvestment.

Putting the Model 3 on this list seems technically accurate, but disingenuous, since pre-owned Model 3's were very hard to come by already. Without new production in the US, a lot of people I know swapped to getting deals on pre-owned ones. There aren’t any to sell.
