God help you.

At least Good Guys comes to Columbus. That’s decent gearhead action.

Don’t get me started on Ohio state troopers. Meth is destroying half the state, but god forbid they use some of that energy towards that problem. Nope, better make sure there is a tropper every 5 miles on I-70.

I would disagree. Here in Green Bay everyone is a gearhead. It’s more to do with the blue-collar nature of the area than the weather.

I’ve done it to run into the gas station for milk (for the kids, I might add). I hit the remote start so that the climate control is on, but the car is locked and can’t be put into gear. An intelligent person would recognize that the kid is safer than if we were driving down the interstate. Plus, my state has NO laws

You are technically correct, which is the best kind of correct.

False. THIS is a proper Continental.

We are totally looking at replacing our midsize SUV with a full size car now that the kids are out of the baby stage. No need to haul around strollers, pack’n’play, etc anymore. Large cars are the bomb, but I’m 6’5” so I may be biased.

We had an ‘03 Ion3 (no CVT). Paid about $17k for it. It drove 8 years/150k miles with minimal issues (only one thing popped up that wasn’t a wear item). Sold it for like $4500 to a college girl within an hour of posting it on Craigslist. I guarantee it’s still chugging out there. Easy car to work on too. I give it an

QOTD should be: which racing series uses cars that are closest to street cars today?

I would care, but it’s going to cost $60k so I just can’t get excited.

Is this article compensation for your bullshit trans am opinions?

I’m with you on that. However, my “trusted mechanic” just let me down. I noticed bad wear on my tires. Took it to the alternate mechanic who pointed out the horribly worn control arm bushings. The same control arm bushings that “trusted mechanic” inspected twice in the last 18 months and performed an alignment on.

I just had a brand new 2016 semi backed into my warehouse so we could load up a 48’ flatbed. It was in the warehouse for a good 45 minutes, and towards the end I realized it had been idling the whole time. There wasn’t a hint of diesel smell in the air. It was unbelievable. I swear the air was cleaner in the warehouse

If you live in the midwest or NE and don’t run your car through a car wash with an undercarriage flush every week you are an idiot. Also, unlimited car wash packages are an essential up here.

Everytime I see the rear of an MKZ I do a double take. Especially in black. It’s the only car that does that to me. The front on the other hand...

Here’s a pic from EAA. The existing engines seem tiny in comparison to modern high bypass units. You can see there’s not much space underneath, even with the tip of the wings supported by outriggers.

I’m not an aviation expert, but I would assume that mixing and matching engines on a strategic bomber has too many questions marks. In the end, any solution would probably require significant wing modifications to meet the operational goals. It would probably require a whole new wing structure, and we know congress

I’ve always thought the same thing...until I saw one on the tarmac at eaa. There is not a ton of clearance below those engines as-is. I can’t imagine fitting a modern high bypass unit under the, especially on the outboard pylons. I mean, the modern Airbus it was sitting next to had engines I could walk into without

I’m 6’5” and have never sat in one. But I did know another tall person who owned one. He looked kind of ridiculous in it, like that episode of the Simpsons. You know the one. I’ve always wondered how accommodating to tall people they really are.
