I drove a 3.1 with about 200k miles on the motor. It’s a solid engine if you don’t abuse it. My mom’s ‘90 Trans Sport even went over 300K miles after we handed it off to a pastor friend. I think that had a 3.1 as well.

Our athletic dept bus driver had a portable TV that she was set on the dashboard of the bus to watch Packer games. Admittedly, these were rare occasions when we had a sporting event on a Sunday (I’m thinking playoff games, etc). But even as a kid I thought it was insane.
When I bought my truck, I found out after the deal was made that a free snow blower came with it. BONUS! That was actaully a great salesman. Super honest and a total straight shooter...which is probably why he didn’t mention the snow blower until afterwards. He no longer works in car sales, sadly. He pursued his…
I’m also 35 and a professional. Buick and Lincoln are squarely in my crosshairs. We’ve tested both, and didn’t find much to complain about.
My new policy:. Auto CP for any smoked out taillights or headlights.
My first thought as well but I guess the samurai’s engine is in front of the axle so maybe it’s not too bad.
Read this, and you’ll know why:
Style-wise, I think all cars peaked in the mid-60s and it’s been downhill since. But supply-wise? No shortage of curvy Buicks being featured at your corner used car lot.
Based on my research (none), we are far from peak LeSabre.
Hash is preferred.
False. It’s the official car of trailer park drug dealer.
Thanks for acknowledging Maté since Patrick won't.
This is how it looked when a Prius rear-ended my truck. The truck barely had a scratch, with just a bumper end pushed into the qtr panel a bit. The Prius looked totalled. It needed a new bumper, hood, headlight, and both qtr panels. I actually asked the Prius’ insurance company if it was totalled, but in reality cars…
We did the same on our house. Spent about $50k less than we can afford, and now we are using that cash to fix it up just how we want it.
I’ve always lived by the mantra that you should pay LESS than you can afford. For instance, when we were looking for our last car we could realistically afford around $35k. We actually bought a car for $10k and put $2k worth of repairs into it. We were able to pay cash, and I probably spend about $600/year in…
Only if Leno plays the Stig (i.e. he never talks).
These type of jail sentances are almost always work release. Social life ruined...but your dumbass isn’t losing your house. I’ve known several people who have gotten these type of sentences...usually for 2nd DUI.
I’ve never received one via certified mail. Nonetheless, it would make sense in the case of the Takata airbag and GM ignition switch recalls. Both pose a significant danger to the consumer who doesn’t get it fixed, and you don’t want any ambiguity in court as to whether you have informed said consumer.
Neither have I, but if I had a recall for a safety item that could kill my customer (Takata air bag, GM ignition, etc) you can bet I would spend the extra cash to cover my ass.
But at least they could prove in court that they sent the letter, etc. If they can show they sent a certified letter to this family, I don’t see how that suit holds up.
