Wisconsinite here. Anyone who disparages seat warmers, remote start, heated steering wheels, etc, can kiss my frozen ass. It was -13 here this morning.

A basic GMC 2WD ext cab Canyon comes in at about $22K MSRP according to Truecar. I bet you can get that down under $20k during incentive seasons after its been out for a few model years.

Here's the thing: I bought what I considered a "basic" pickup truck. It has cloth seats, basic power options, and not much else. However, I have a big boy 4WD system, rear locker, beefy radiator and trans cooler, skid plates galore, beefy sway bars, boxed frame, and a bullet-proof V8 and trans. I am not willing to

Midwestern lawyer, eh? I didn't realize Lehto was such a prick.

I really liked the Lincoln MKZ when I test drove it. Better than the CTS. I think it's a great start for Lincoln (like the original CTS was for Caddy). It looks great from behind, dog ugly from the front, and the interior was very nice. Overall, not worthy of the hate. I really hope Lincoln gets its shit together.

Bugatti horseshoe grill? It was a French film, after all.

"Kitterman told police that he had not watched television in several days and was not aware that people were looking for him."

Uhhhhh, what did you think your family would think when you didn't return to the game and didn't show up at home?

"Where's dad?"

Yeah, iron blocks and housings, thicker sheet metal, acres of hood and truck lid.....and still only 3000 lbs. I plan on swapping in a modern aluminum motor in it to shed a couple hundred pounds. Who needs safety gear anyway?

This. When I tell people my 65 Tempest weighs in at about 3,000 lbs that don't believe me. "Those old 60s cars are boats!". They have none of the toys or safety equipment, so they really don't weigh as much as people think.

Toyota: Available at your local Sears next to the refrigerators and ranges.

Clearly this guy has never left Madison. And as someone who has lived in a state capital with a large state university, I can say that those types of cities are chocked full of assholes. Politicians and college kids? Winning combination!

there is a ferry full of nash automobiles and toilets at the bottom of Lake Michigan. Google ss Milwaukee.

New Glarus Brewing has a beer called Uff-Da. Pretty tasty stuff.

Neutral: Would You Buy The EV Focus? How cheap would it have to be?

Except kids need to be in car seats until they are 27 today. Those things take up an enormous amount of space. And if you have more than one, god help you. We had to give up our Fiat when #2 showed up. Image 3 car seats in the back of that bug!

Exactly. When I was looking for a pickup, used versions were about $24k for 2 years old, 30k miles. I paid $28k new.

My 2011 Sierra 1500 Z71 was stickered at a bit north of $36K. I paid $28K. Only suckers pay anywhere near sticker on a pickup.

If you care about this. I bought my Sierra a year or 2 before the redesign. I knew it would look outdated in a few years when I bought it. But trucks don't tend to drastically change the looks. The current Sierra looks very similar.

"The Environmental Protection Agency's fuel efficiency Trends Report demonstrates that the automakers are thumbing their collective noses at the Obama administration's mileage and emissions rules," Becker said.

I'm just going to leave this here:
