Rich people telling everyone to work hard, can fuck off and die.

Guess what. The pre requirement of needing a “hustle” culture is that jobs don’t pay you enough to live normally.
To be clear, I’m curious rather than specifically advocating for jail time. I just find it interesting that he isn’t being charged, especially compared to a situation like this that seems broadly similar (if too far to the other extreme in the sentencing):
...it’s almost as if we live in a nation with precious little respect or protection for regular working people!
You must only drive some pretty crap cars.
They used to be cheap. Like six grand for the top tier one. Then Polaris realized they could make a shitton of money off of insecure people who wanted to play redneck and actual rednecks who had gotten too old and frail to ride ATVs anymore. Yamaha kicked in with theirs, and then that started a war about horsepower,…
I wasn’t sure before, but I am now: We’re on the same side of this.
Nah I can whine, especially after they told me they’d cover the cost outright.
If you want to kill someone, hit them with your car.
Still seems like you have the wrong platform for an RV. Both school and transit buses are designed for going slowly from stop-to-stop. Neither is really meant to be hurtling down the highway for hours on end. You really need to find a proper highway coach. But the RTS is certainly a better start than a rusty school…
What? We gotta read the articles that we’re throwing opinions over? I thought this was America!
Normalize tossing other people’s carry-ons onto the floor when they put them where they don’t belong.

These are powered by a K-series and have no timing belt. Those motors are chain-driven. The only belt-driven motor Honda made after the early 00s is the J-series V6.
I’m torn on this one. The Element is super reliable and a fantastic formfactor. $6900 today is like $4k in 2019-market-dollars and I would like to think this is a good deal at $4k, thus at $6900 it should be as well, even though I am very resistant to accepting this “new normal”. In this particular car, I would have…
I really don’t understand why this is so much worse than so many of the cars we claim to love on here.
I always get a chuckle out of the people that have limitless praise for the Honda Fit (we have one), but find the HR-V to be some abomination.
My elderly neighbor likes hers because:
My take as well.
Best guess is that since it’s West Texas and the age of the adult, it’s one of those times where he fondly remembered his Grandpappy letting him drive when no one or very little people were on the road as a kid and was allowing this one to have that same memory. This happens in the South all the time, not so much…
