I remember when Top Gear was fun. Ever increasing budgets sucked all the joy out of this show. Everything is just explosions and forced jokes now.

A Chris Harris version/continuation of Alain de Cadenet’s Victory by Design would be great.
I think the issue is more that their stuff has strayed farther and farther from “car culture” (as evidenced by the fact there were no cars in their last feature) and further towards “watch these old guys do stupid things and make each other uncomfortable”. Which can be entertaining, but it would be nice if the cars…
It’s definitely the oil filter, however the cooler is below the filter. If it’s anything like my Fiesta ST or the WRX as mentioned it’s a sandwich plate that acts as a water to oil cooler that the filter is mounted on. Though I would have assumed the previous generation had one, but I’m probably mistaken.
Lol OK man.
I think the old BRZ/86 is better looking, but the bump in power is really nice. From photos I’ve seen, the new interior still looks like dog shit. Aesthetically, the Miata has this beat inside and out. It’ll be interesting to see how it performs.
Ehm... the ones where the power completely overwhelms the handling capabilities of the vehicle; which was already a pretty low bar in the case of the Wrangler to begin with.
I’m sure these will sell like hot cakes, but I can’t imagine the driving experience in the Wrangler is improved by adding more weight and this much power. I’ll cautiously be giving these a wide berth when I see them out on the street.
Now I don’t work in marketing, but ragging on the people most likely to be able to afford your product seems counter-intuitive.
The problem with your version of capitalism is that you only see one side. You greatly fail to see the opposite side of all this when the options are taken away from consumers to essentially handcuff the free hand of the market via a toxic mix of regulation, collusion, and monopoly.
“I’ll stick with buying older, used vehicles.”
This is yet another way for capitalists to fuck people over.
Where do you see he was “flooring it”? The graph shows TPS starting at 40 and steadily climbed to go, and then “floored” at time of impact. This looks like somebody resting their foot on the throttle while zoned out or even asleep. Aggressive drivers don’t use steady state partial thottle.
Mazdaspeed would work really well alongside all the GT’s, N’s, M’s, F’s, AMG’s, S’s, Raptor’s, GR’s, SRT’s, SVT’s, NISMO’s, and V’s that are already out there and selling.
One needs to think like an investor. What will yield the highest return? One look out the window says it’s not performance vehicles.

Zoom-zoom was 20 years ago when young people could afford and cared to drive cars. Now, the ironically named “zoomers” don’t drive and half of them live at home with their parents. A result of the cost of cars rising and wages staying flat over that same 20 year period.
I think 5 years ago it would've been hilarious. Now we don't automatically assume it's a joke.
I guess he did Nazi that.
It’s all calibration-dependent though. Unless you kept the exact same sensor placements, it may call for engineering to maintain function.
