By the time I look to buy an EV these early adopter woes should be solved. Thanks early adopters for your service! I hope most of you survive it.

But why the hell would I pay somebody to record clicking a Like button?
Yeah I’m not disagreeing. Cars though have become quite resilient to things like rust because of how the chassis is treated and how the fasteners are coated. The Japanese have plastic coated the outside of fuel and brake lines for decades to prevent them from rusting out. When I see a car, truck or in this case a bus…
Nothing was actually sold so, nobody needs permission. NFT’s provide no ownership rights to the “thing” the NFT is based on. It’s just a receipt that expresses your interest in the “thing”. You don’t own or have any rights to the thing after you buy the NFT.
If you’d been avoiding Gran Turismo 7 over the past month because of the, shall we say, restrictive economy, you should give it another shot.
Depends on how thick the metal is. Most vehicles are made of various thicknesses and various kinds of steel.
I look at school buses and think “made by the lowest bidder”.
I get you. Since there’s no requirement to get an EV, I compare EV’s to all cars and not just other EV’s. Cheap for an EV is still expensive in the spectrum of cars. Also the quoted $42K is likely the base price and the ICE car numbers I’m quoting are at the top of the range for the CRV. Not for the Passport.
It’s $7000 more than a top of the line CRV. $7000 more than a Passport. Are you comparing it to all cars or EV’s? It’s not expensive for an EV but all EV’s are more expensive than a ICE car by $7-10K

It was sitting just 11 miles away in a salvage yard. This was in February of this year.
“After everything I’ve been put through, I am still a huge believer in Tesla, Elon Musk and electric cars,” he said.
As long as you’re not one of the a-holes who does this, it won’t happen to you right? The only people’s stuff that would get touched is the inconsiderate assholes and I’d say they deserve some trouble.
Ugly, expensive and has a stupid name. Why would Toyota shoot themselves in the foot this way? I’d be more interested if it was just expensive but they hit the trifecta.
Sure but what can they do? Yelling doesn’t hurt and if they try to hit me, they get escorted off the plane. There are plenty of rules on the plane that would protect you even if you annoyed people. You could just play dumb.
If I piss you off enough, maybe you can get a nice escort off the plane?
Meaning I had to traverse many rows back to stow my luggage.
Anyway, we’re past the point of needing mechanical LSDs, even if they’re neat to see on a spec sheet.
You know there are some prices that are simply a step too far? $45K for a tarted up econobox is a step too far for me. Something I might buy for fun at $35K, I wouldn’t even look at for $45. Too many other nice cars out there for 45.
Yeah crazy times. I paid $4K for my 09 right before Covid. I feel I could get at least $6K for it today.
