I understand where the safety nannies are coming from. I wouldn’t want to be in a wreck in this thing. On the other hand, the chance this car will every be involved in a significant wreck is pretty low.

We both made assumptions. I assumed you had bald tires, as is common and you assumed I’d injured someone in my accident, which I’ve never have. I rear ended someone once from a stop on a right turn when I thought they’d already gone. Basically a fender bender completely unrelated to how I drive.

I just watched one the other day where a guy driving the speed limit in a black car, got passed by another black car driving well over the limit. Cop pulled the first guy over. Now I set my cruise as much as possible and I always keep it under the limit or lower depending on the conditions (and I always stay right unless I have a left turn coming up.)

Maybe steam should deny any refund for titles under a certain cost. If your game costs less than say $20, no refunds ever. Maybe steam should allow the authors to decide whether they want to honor refunds or not?

If you’ve ever been inside a car door fixing a window or changing a power window motor, you’ll know that what YOU perceive a solid is really thin mild steel, with some Z or C channels glued to the skin for rigidity and a large void of air before your interior metal skin (with HUGE holes) and plastic panel.

I have no idea why you’re drawing this hate. I agree with you. For people who already wear seat-belts, this will simply increase the hassle in our lives and provide no benefit. For people who don’t wear seat belts, they’ll simply buckle the seat belts and leave them buckled 100% of the time the way the cops do.

We have been in favor of seatbelt interlocks here at Jalopnik for quite some time, as we want driving to be as safe as possible for everyone.
