If you allow the phone to sync with infotainment, I imagine it pulls copies and stores it in infotainment system’s memory. The idea that if you’re not connected the car doesn’t know anything about you is probably wrong. It depends on how much you allow to sync over the link. Contacts for instance and navigation.

All I’m suggesting is if ICE cars have to pay for parking, EV’s should pay too. No special rights for EV drivers.

At least in my state he’s correct. No sign up, no handicapped spot. No matter what’s painted on the ground.  What you should have done is reported to the campus that their sign needed repair.

He can probably park near the front through like the other elites.

EV owners aren’t handicapped and don’t deserve special privileges. Why should the poor suffer so rich EV owners can get a special deal?

He noticed that EVs get to park for free in the provided EV charging spots.

Because some people had problems with HELOC’s all people will?

Right but I’m not like the buyer here. Not able to afford an old car. It’s like credit cards. For some people they’re a bad idea, for others, the people who pay them off every month, they’re an exceptional convenience.

There’s nothing appealing about this car. It’s not even that attractive. Even if we restrict it to BMW’s there are plenty of better BMW’s for that price.

Since nobody got hurt not much case for lawsuit but I’m sure some lawyer could make a case for stress or something and GM would probably settle.

I’m skeptical that GM can disclaim away their negligence. The built a car with a defect that caused it to burst into flames in someone’s house. The fact they recalled it doesn’t absolve them of responsibility.

If you’re not paid up, the vest won’t work, period.

This is a good way to put it. Technically correct but unlikely to happen.

This. I have a revolving home equity line. I can put anything on it I want.

If it was sufficient then that would be great. How many maintenance guys does a field of wind powered generators tend to employ?

I’d argue it depends on what kind of buyer you are too. I’d have no issue dropping the drivetrain out in my garage to work on it, freshen up the clutch and so forth. A car like this, cheap enough and old enough is best for someone who likes to maintain and repair cars.

Agreed, the best seller, for a buyer, are the anal types who record every oil change and hiccup.  I love these guys.

The IMS is not an issue by 08 and besides even if it was, no car goes this many miles with an ims that is going to fail.

The thought you were more likely to buy a domestic car by buying a Honda to Toyota than by buying a Ford or GM, amused me.

It’s the internet, truth is optional when you’re trying to make a point. 3 out of 4 of my Hondas were built over here. I could have said “Most” but that would have weakened my point.
