Neoliberal” has a very clear definition. If you’re not familiar with the concept there’s several books on it. You sound like a schmuck who thinks “liberal” and “left” are synonymous.

You think it’s possible a multimillionaire turned a blind eye to serial sexual abuse, and think that’s bad? What are you trying to say, that you think all gay people have to be super nice all the time?”

Reporting on labour abuses? Yikes, AV Club, that sounds like bro stuff to me.

I’m a straight white male. Nothing from this story has hurt me. Nobody has treated me differently because of this. People *will* use this story to discredit queer people and/or people of colour when they report hateful violence against them. *That* is what real hurt looks like, and it is more deserving of emotional

obligatory joke about how it will have the largest budget of any film starring a trans man

It’s not very jumpy. I can’t think of a horror movie that truly has *none* but this is lighter on them than at least 90% of horror movies. There are certainly parts where slow scenes become very fast or quick moments are broken with loud noise, but the movie usually prepares you for them.

There’s not a lot of it, but the stuff that is there is *rough.*

Yeah. On their website they have a “Top Ten Companies That Contribute To Sexual Exploitation” and on that list is Steam, with Gabe Newell’s face and name on a banner. The reasoning because some games on their service have sexual content.

Still pretty bad even, if the guy said some stuff he wasn’t certain of. The gap between the most and least egregious version of his story isn’t THAT large, and his more conservative guesses of what happened that night still reflect poorly on Takei. It also doesn’t explain the Stern interview, and Takei’s response to

He didn’t “lie” about the drugging. The drink hit him harder than he expected, and it was something he considered was possible. He never stated “Takei drugged me,” it was just a guess. How was he supposed to tell? Or remember exactly how he was touched.

(Neither is Superman)

It’s so weird that it happened that year of all years. It was one of the most politically charged wins of Best Picture in a long time. It’s probably the Best Picture win I’ve been most passionate about in my entire life. And I can totally feel where Jenkins is coming from. I can’t imagine the amount of effort and

She previously made tweets about an unnamed abuser who was critical of Weinstein.

Never properly diagnosed - and the last time he referred to himself as autistic on his podcast he sort of corrected himself and said his therapist told him he shouldn’t say that until he’s diagnosed.

But I thought Kylo Ren killed him.

Yeah. I liked The Last Jedi, but at the end I thought about how little time Rey and Poe have spent with each other going into Episode IX. The characters in these films are pretty good, but they really don’t have much of a relationship with each other.

We Need to Talk About Kylo

There was a “Inside Mad Men” for that episode where they explained that that scene was an anecdote from a woman who actually worked in the industry at the time. But it was the first thing I thought of as well.

The comments aren’t bad with Kinjamprove, but the site layout is... a lot.

Lonely and afraid =/= people finding your politics atypical and unacceptable?
