Yeah, it should appeal to Firefly fans; it's a very similar plot, although, haha, properly reaches its conclusion instead of being cut short. I watched the whole show's run again a few years ago. Still stands up very well.
Yeah, I didn't hate it. But we could all make lists of what we didn't like about it (resisting the temptation here). Was it just rushed? Were some bad calls made? Has Scott lost his magic? Questions for the ages.
