Absolutely and that'd be a wonderful fix. The proposed solution above isn't that, but yes that'd be an elegant (weapon) solution for it. Throw in a dialog line like "oh I see" and suddenly Our Hero has learned a trick of lightsaber crafting by finding this piece. Very good fix :D
