funny, I just happened to try this the other day on my Nexus 5, and now it works. I guess they improved something on 4.4. I did try "OK google, take me home" and that unfortunately didn't work though. :)

I use a Nexus 4, and had an iPhone 4S before. Google Now is great with its voice commands, but what I miss is the contextual, conversation-like ability of Siri.

I think MS will most likely plan to remove desktop mode from RT. It doesn't belong there. My guess is that they didn't have time to make the changes necessary to make Office operate in their "modern UI" mode. Once they figure that out, RT will feel more cohesive and the clarity that RT doesn't have desktop while…

I totally get what you're saying - I think MS still has to work out the details on how to differentiate behavior for tablet/touchscreen vs mouse/desktop. Perhaps if the OS recognizes a cursor, an X should be available.
But it seems like Verizon will get the lower end 820 one named the 822:

I wish I could say "turn off wifi" or "turn off bluetooth" but nope. Only on a jailbroken iOS 5...
It doesn't cost as text. It matters if you're on AT&T who try to rob you by counting text separately from data and charging for text as another cost.
