that’s the beauty of Android. Don’t like it? Get a custom launcher like Nova, and change the color. And gasp, you can even change the icon pack if you want!

blackberry for you?

It's under Statusbar Tweaks > Notification heads up

Not sure why people overlook the obvious. Some people have a natural gift or obvious talent for something. I teach a kids basketball clinic, and some kids w/ the same amount of practice get better at doing something like layups much more quickly than another kid. Some kids can put in lots of hours, but I can tell

funny, I just happened to try this the other day on my Nexus 5, and now it works. I guess they improved something on 4.4. I did try "OK google, take me home" and that unfortunately didn't work though. :)

sorry, I'm a newbie, so this ques: what's the advantage of loading it into steam?

TIL that I don't know how to use Word.

One command I wish Google Now could do:

I use a Nexus 4, and had an iPhone 4S before. Google Now is great with its voice commands, but what I miss is the contextual, conversation-like ability of Siri.

I ditched Sprint b/c I was tired of their .8mb down and .2mb upload speeds. Don't do it people! Well, at least not until their LTE is more expansive.

Actually most NBA players have their ankles professionally taped by their trainer, so to them, it doesn't matter. To those that say high tops don't matter for us regular players, they do. I have a feeling most of you don't play hoops enough to know the difference. The only thing is that if you brace your ankle too

All this talk of ICONS for iOS7? ICONS?

I just want simple things.

I would try the Value Plan, where you can bring your own phone and get lower monthly costs. I usually get over 10mb down btw on my Galaxy S3 purchased off craigslist.'

What T-mobile needs is a true Wifi based signal booster. The only one they have is a booster that boosts existing signal, which doesn't help if you don't have any signal. They have baked in Wifi-calling into the Galaxy S3 and some other phones, but my experience is that it's not all that reliable.

I'm more and more convinced that the best experience is actually a touch ultrabook, not a tablet, nor a non-touch PC. I've heard good reviews about the Lenovo Yoga so far, but have yet to see it in person. We'll see how this Windows 8 stuff plays out, I think people are still trying to figure it out.

Wait, did Apple copy the idea of icons and grids from Palm?

or to watch all those mobile phone videos where the person recorded the "wrong way" vertically.
